Step into our Spooky Sanctuary, a playful, not-too-scary walkthrough designed for all ages! Explore decorated corners filled with pumpkins, cobwebs, and friendly frights while discovering community stories, messages of hope, and fun photo spots. It’s the perfect mix of Halloween charm and heartwarming community spirit.

 What’s in the Box? (Mystery Feel Station)

Are you brave enough to find out what’s inside? Reach your hand into our mystery boxes and guess what you’re feeling—could it be “witch’s hair,” “monster eyeballs,” or something totally unexpected? This sensory-friendly game adds a touch of Halloween curiosity and laughter for kids and adults alike!

 The Heart of Northside: Purpose

The Heart of Northside is a vibrant community hub dedicated to improving health, connection, and wellness for all. The 47,000-square-foot historic property is being transformed into a community health center and event space focused on three goals:

– Growing access to fresh produce through a future on-site rooftop garden
– Promoting health literacy with classes, workshops, and one-on-one counseling
– Strengthening community well-being through listening, outreach, and inclusive events

At the center of this vision is a rooftop garden designed to provide organic produce directly to the community, support local businesses, and model sustainable urban health practices.

In addition to hosting beloved community gatherings—like weddings, health fairs, and the Northside Farmers’ Market—the Heart of Northside continues its mission of bringing people together in meaningful ways. The facility also houses the practice of Dr. Florence Rothenberg and other health specialists, creating a space where care, education, and community thrive side by side.
